You're are a new student at a space school called Cosmonious High, you are the first Prismi to be enrolled in this school.
Other species that attent the school are Flan, Trisk, and Bipid; what makes you unique (and what you use to solve puzzels in the game) is that under pressure you gain a new ability to solve the current problem.
After getting on the space bus, piloted by the school's ai (note: not an actual IRL ai, it's a scripted character like the rest), to go to school it crashes in to the Creation Wing of the school. As the bus is on fire you get your first abiltiy: water. Using your water ability to put out the fire you meet Fren.
